Inserted into the drain pipe, it intercepts and removes solid particles present in the wastewater and also prevents backflow of unwanted contaminants from the drainage system.
Inserting this basket serves the dual purpose of filtering solid particles and creating a siphon. For installation into an existing drain, the cover must be replaced. Available for 200, 250, and 320 mm drains.
Essential when installing a drain on flooring with waterproofing layers, as it allows the membrane to be folded inside the collar, enabling it to drain properly into the sewer system.
Allows removal of the drain’s usually fixed part, enabling its installation over an open sump and providing ways for inspecting this type of drainage system. Note: it is recommended to use a drain rated for exceptional loads.
